MALTA: INFORMAL MEETING TO MONITOR EVENTS AND PROJECTS FOR NEXT YEAR
Within the framework of the General Assembly and Seminar to present the events for 2016 organised by the European Centre for Workers' Questions (EZA), held from 3 to 5 December in Malta, some of the IPCM Board members held an informal meeting to review the programme of events and joint projects for next year.
During the seminar Piergiorgio Sciacqua, Co-President of EZA, briefed EZA members on the various different events organised by the Platform, and awarded Chindasvinto Moreno with a plaque in recognition of his long service to the IPCM.

MADRID: EQUITABLE DEVELOPMENT DAY. REDUCING INEQUALITY IN THE NEW GLOBAL CONTEXT
On Friday, 13 November, the International Platform for Cooperation and Migration (IPCM) organised a meeting on Equity-based Development: Reducing inequalities in the new global context at the Representation of the European Commission in Spain (Madrid). With this conference, and the support of the General Secretary for International Development Cooperation (SGCID in its Spanish acronym), the PICM wished to promote greater awareness among the general public of equity-based development from different perspectives, and its handling within the Sustainable Development Goals defined on the new 2030 Agenda, which aims to eradicate poverty in all its forms and dimensions by addressing the inequalities within and between countries.
MADRID: INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR "INCLUSIVE STRATEGIES TO PROMOTE EMPLOYMENT"
The International Seminar "Strategies to promote inclusive employment" (see programme), organised by the Humanism and Democracy Foundation, the founding member of the International Platform for Cooperation and Migration (IPCM), was held from 16 to 18 October this year in Madrid. This seminar takes place within the framework of the Social Dialogue Project designed by the European Centre for Workers' Questions (EZA), financed by the European Union and with the collaboration of the IPCM.
