Lucca: the General Assembly of the IPCM approves the accounts and the plan of activities
The PICM/IPCM General Assembly was held in the city of Lucca (Italy), on September 17, 2024. It was attended by representatives of entities based in Italy, Spain, Portugal, Poland and Germany.
The General Assembly was chaired by Dr. Rafael Rodríguez-Ponga, president of the PICM/IPCM and rector of the Univresitat Abat Oliba CEU of Barcelona. He explained the activities of the Board of Directors; the website in six languages; and the series of seminars that are planned. He thanked the support of EZA and the MCL.

The president reported on the subsidy that the Universitat Abat Oliba CEU has received for a project on immigration.
The secretary of the PICM, Mr. Ignacio Argote, read the minutes and reported the registration of the PICM in the Ministry of the Interior.
The treasury report, prepared by the vice-treasurer Mrs. Maribel Alañón, was approved: the accounts for the year 2023, the situation of the accounts for 2024 and the budget for 2025.
In attendance were, among others, the president of EZA, Luc Van den Brande; the co-president of EZA and vice-president of the PICM, Piergiorgio Sciacqua; the president of MCL, Alfonso Luzzi; the president of EDS-FNS, Agata Gawlik; Vice President Maria Reina Martin; secretary Ignacio Argote; the deputy secretary, professor Alessandro Mini; the board member Francisco Domínguez (CEAT); and Maria do Céu Moleiro (FTDC).
The president of AFAMMER, Carmen Quintanilla, attended as a guest.
