MADRID: Jesús Casado, former secretary of IPCM, passed away after a long life of service
Mr. Jesús Casado, former secretary of the IPCM Board of Directors, passed away on September 24th in Madrid at the age of 84. The IPCM deeply mourns the death of one of the founders of our Platform.

Genoa and Asturias: Emigration Museums Help Us Understand Historical and Present-Day Realities
September 10, 2025. The Galata Museo del Mare in Genoa, Italy, and the Emigration Museum ("Archivo de Indianos") in Asturias, Spain, display artifacts and testimonies from Italian and Spanish emigration in the 19th and 20th centuries. Visiting them is a highly interesting experience.

Alfonso Luzzi, president of the Movimento Cristiano Lavoratori (MCL, Italy), chaired the European studies seminar held in Genoa, Italy. Representatives of social, union, political, and religious organizations from thirteen countries participated.

Córdoba: European Social Rights Under Study
The CEAT association organized a seminar in the city of Córdoba (Spain) on July 4 and 5, 2025. Delegates from several countries participated.
Seville: The UN summit brings together numerous states, with notable absences. The IPCM is present at the sessions.
The IPCM delegation to the 4th International Conference on Financing for Development was composed of the president, the secretary, and the vice-treasurer. They attended the working sessions, where they heard interventions by the presidents and government envoys of numerous countries. They also held meetings with other NGOs and university professors.
