INTERNATIONAL DAYS OF FOOD AND FOR THE ERADICATION OF POVERTY

World Food Day is celebrated on October 16 and International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on October 17. For this reason, the IPCM-PICM publicly renews its commitment to continue working to improve people's living conditions.

Within the IPCM-PICM, the role played by two organizations in the world stands out. First, the Spanish Fundación Concordia y Libertad maintains development cooperation projects in Latin America and the Philippines. Second, the Italian CEFA is very active in Africa, in the fight against hunger and extreme poverty.

Rafael Rodríguez-Ponga, president of the IPCM-PICM, has indicated that it is about "a commitment in which, in one way or another, we work, as persons and as institutions."
