LUBLIN: IMPACT OF THE SOCIAL ECONOMY IN EUROPE
The Polish city of Lublin hosted an international seminar organized by Europejski Dom Spotkań - Fundacja Nowy Staw (EDS-FNS), held on January 15-16, 2021.
Participants were Agata Dziubińska–Gawlik, president of EDS-FNS (European Meeting Center - Nowy Staw Foundation) and director of the "Social Economy Support Center" Together - Social Economy Initiatives "; Piergiorgio Sciacqua, co-president of EZA and vice president of IPCM; Sigrid Schraml , Secretary General of EZA, and Józef Mozolewski, Vice President of EZA and Regional President of Solidarność, as well as Aneta Szczykutowicz, EDS-FNS, of the "Social Economy Support Center" Together "- Social Economy Initiatives" and member of the Board of Directors of IPCM.
They discussed the social economy in Europe, its opportunities and possibilities, with representatives from Poland, Belgium, Spain and the Czech Republic.
They spoke of the activation of people at risk of social exclusion and the psychological dimension of working in the social economy. Experiences of workers and employers were heard.
Due to the pandemic, the seminar was held online.
