Meeting of the Board of Directors in Lisbon

The Board of Directors of the International Platform for Cooperation and Migration (IPCM) met in Lisbon on 3 June, 2016 with all its members attending. In line with the IPCM's raison d'etre, the meeting focused its interest on the analysis of the current position on EU asylum and migration policies and those of its member countries. In addition, it also planned the format of its upcoming events: the international seminar to be held in Melilla on migratory phenomena and EU policies, in collaboration with H+D and the European Centre for Workers' Questions - EZA, as well as a conference in Madrid sponsored by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

cifoieThis board meeting of the Platform coincided with its members taking part in the international seminar held on 2 and 3 June, also in Lisbon, on "Qualifying workers in digital skills for a changing labour market: training workers and social partners for the future" where specialised training in digital technologies for the future of young workers in Europe was discussed.
