In Lublin, Polen, fand ein europäisches Seminar zum Thema Migranten und Flüchtlinge statt. Die Teilnehmenden analysierten die Arbeitsmarktchancen und tauschten persönliche Erfahrungen aus.
Das Seminar fand vom 12. bis 15. Februar 2026 unter dem Titel „Unterstützung von Migranten und Flüchtlingen auf dem europäischen Arbeitsmarkt – Herausforderungen für Arbeitnehmerorganisationen“ statt. Die Eröffnungsreden hielten Aneta Szczykutowicz, Vizepräsidentin des PICM-IPCM, Psychologin und Trainerin bei der EDS-Fundacja Nowy Staw; Agata Dziubińska-Gawlik, Präsidentin der EDS-FNS; und Piergiorgio Sciacqua, Co-Präsident der EZA und Vizepräsident des PICM.

Das Seminar verlief planmäßig. Zwei Mitglieder des PICM-Vorstands nahmen ebenfalls teil: Ignacio Argote (Spanien) und Vittorino Rodaro (Italien).
Die Integration von Einwanderern und Flüchtlingen sowie der Arbeitsmarkt und die Rolle von Arbeitnehmerorganisationen standen im Mittelpunkt der Seminardiskussionen.
Polen hat infolge des Krieges in der Ukraine drei Millionen Flüchtlinge aufgenommen. Die EDS-FNS-Stiftung hat mit Unterstützung des PICM ein Aufnahmezentrum für ukrainische Familien in Nasutów eingerichtet. Vertreter des PICM besuchten dieses Zentrum im Oktober 2022.
