Rovereto (Trento, Italy): Technology Fosters New Migrations: Digital Nomads
The city of Rovereto (Trento, Italy) hosted a European seminar to study the influence of new technologies and artificial intelligence on the world of work. The seminar was organized by UNAIE and the Trentini nel Mondo association.

Experts from various countries analyzed issues such as new professions in the labor market, the evolving role of trade unions, and the impact of artificial intelligence. Specifically, Gigliolla Delbosco, a teacher and social media content writer, analyzed the issue of new migrations. She referred to so-called digital nomads, who work remotely via computer from different locations.

The seminar was titled “Computer Sapiens Sapiens: Work in the Digital Age.” The closing session was presided over by Vittorino Rodaro, Vice President of UNAIE and member of the Board of Directors of PICM.
The event took place at the Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto from October 24 to 26, 2025.
