Four members of the IPCM Board of Directors attended the funeral home to offer their condolences to the family (his wife, son, and two daughters) and to attend the Mass for his eternal rest.

In addition, the IPCM General Assembly, meeting in Amarante (Porto, Portugal), dedicated an Our Father to him, prayed in Latin.

At the international level, his involvement in the European Centre for Workers' Questions (EZA), the European Union of Christian Democratic Workers (UETDC-EUCDW), and the IPCM stands out.

When the IPCM was legally established in 2009, Casado actively helped launch it. In 2010, he was elected vice-secretary, and in 2011, secretary of the Board of Directors. In 2018, he was succeeded as secretary by Ignacio Argote, also from CEAT.

The president of the PICM wrote: "We remember him with admiration and affection for his enthusiasm and commitment. For more than two decades, we have collaborated on numerous activities and seminars, both in Spain and internationally." Requiescat in pace.
